Chapter Recruitment Investment Program
(CIRP)
The Chapter Recruitment Invest Program is a program to help chapters provide resources for recruitment activities. Chapters can request funding for items to help in their recruitment efforts. Priority will be given to those chapters having paid under 20 member policy dues over the years. Other chapters demonstrating need will also be eligible. Request will be approved by the Executive Committee. Input from the chapter’s Region Director will be considered. The request will be evaluated for financial need and how the funds will assist their membership goals. Requests are limited to no more than $250 per chapter.
Membership FAQs
What are the Jaycees?
We are a leadership, community service and social organization for young adults between the ages of 18-40. We run projects and events in 4 different areas of opportunity: Individual Development, Community Action, Business, and International Collaboration. We help our communities, travel, meet new friends, grow as leaders and have lots of fun along the way!

Is there a minimum requirement for participation in events?
The Jaycees is a unique organization that does not have a minimum requirement for participation in events. We have a saying around the Jaycees, “You get out of the organization what you put into it”. You decide your level of participation. Any amount of time is appreciated, and it is well worth getting involved. It is recommended that you attend one monthly meeting and consider being part of at least one committee. Every chapter is different, but we realize your time is valuable.

How can I become a member?
All you have to do to become a member is fill out an application, pay your first year’s dues, and be sworn in by your local chapter president. We can connect you with your closest chapter. If there is not one nearby we can help you grab your friends and make a brand-new chapter!

All chapters regardless of their current membership result for 2024 should submit an award. The State Team will evaluate each submission on a variety of factors. We will honor those projects and individuals that we select at the State Year-End Awards on February 1. Some of these winners will move on to national award consideration. Ignore the instructions on the top of the JCI USA Forms on the submission timelines. The State Team will handle submitting eligible awards to the national level for consideration.
JCI USA Award Manual (2024) - This gives you more information on the JCI USA Awards and how they are judged. This is a good reference to use to make sure you are including key points in the nomination form so they can be judged appropriately.

JCI 2024 Plan of Action - The nominations ask for how the chapter, person, or project advance the action plan.
