The Palatine Jaycees are a leader in the community known for their many community projects as well as social and leadership development opportunities for young adults. We are most known for Hometown Fest, our annual Independence Day celebration that features a multi-day carnival, live music, a parade, Fireworks and more. All proceeds from Hometown Fest fund our Community Development projects such as a Scholarship Program, Community Grants Project, Thanksgiving Basket donated to our Township Food Pantry, free events throughout the year for children and families of the community and more. Financing for Chapter needs requires additional fundraising projects. Outside of Community Projects, members often share their own skills and expertise through ID projects such as a Wine Club, Real Estate Education, Composting and others.
