Project Management Guide (PMG)
A PMG, or Project Management Guide, is a tool that chapters use to run projects. This guide should have every detail needed to run a project. To propose a project to the chapter, an initial PMG is submitted for approval. An initial PMG consists of parts 1-7. Upon approval, funds can be spent. A final PMG is turned in within 90 days of a project's completion, and includes sections 1-11.

PMGs are a great way to retain history, information, and critical points of contacts for a project. It should lay everything out and serve as directions for you and future chairpersons.
-
PMGs are submitted to the state for POC points as well as award consideration
-
You can submit your PMG to PMG@iljaycees.org or submit to the Dropbox here.

For questions, email PMG PM Rianna Hollenstine at rianna.hollenstine@iljaycees.org

Let us know if you'd like us to add your PMG to the PMG Library!

We are super excited to launch our brand new PMG Document Sharing Library! The PMG Library was created to allow chapters to share their PMGs with other chapters across the state. This will allow chapters to brainstorm ideas, see what works for other chapters, share what has worked for them, etc.

How does it work?
We will allow viewing privileges to the chapter. This will allow you to view the files within the drive. PMGs will be organized by submission category.
To submit a PMG, you will upload the file to the folder linked above. We will then sort it into the correct folder. When submitting a PMG, you can submit redacted copies if you would like to block out personal information, etc. We advise leaving a chapter contact in the PMG so other chapter can reach out for questions, to discuss, etc.
