Illinois JCI Senate
What Being a Senator Means
The Illinois JCI Senate has been in existence for more than 50 years and is a member of US JCI Senate Region V, which also includes Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The Illinois JCI Senate encourages local Jaycee chapters to nominate deserving past and present Jaycees for membership in the JCI Senate, promote fellowship among JCI Senators, meet locally as individuals, to provide a means for retaining friendship and expanding the organization, foster better understanding and goodwill through International Relations, be non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-profit in its purposes and activities, wholly abstain from any political affiliations or the endorsement of any candidates for any public office, maintain a role of non-interference in the affairs and activities of the regular Jaycee organizations, at any level off their structure and to provide experienced assistance to the Jaycee movement at a local, region and state level, as invited, asked or requested.

A JCI USA Senator is an honorary title bestowed upon members of the Jaycees who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to the organization and their communities. Senators are recognized for their significant contributions and commitment to the principles and values of JCI, often having served in various leadership roles and having made a lasting impact through their initiatives and projects.
